Welcome to the Coastal Carolina University Intramural Sports Program!

The Intramural Sports Program offers a variety of team/league sports, tournaments, individual and special events. Each one of these Intramural Sports is played at one of the Campus Recreation Facilities and features offerings in different leagues and then into smaller divisions. You can click here to find instructions on registering, creating a team, joining a team, or signing up as a free agent. Below is additional information on the differences between sport offerings and divisions.

Regular Season & Playoffs

All league sports feature a five week regular season and teams typically play on the same day and time for each of the entire regular season. The season is followed by a single elimination playoff, which all teams who have not forfeited and hold a 3.0 sportsmanship rating will qualify. Teams will be ranked for the playoffs by record, point differential and sportsmanship.

Leagues & Divisions

Most sports offer Pro, Rookie, Women's, Greek and CoRec leagues.  Pro League is geared toward experienced participants who are looking for more challenging/competitive game play. Rookie League are recreational and are geared towards participants who playing with a ‘just for fun’ mentality. Teams competiing in Fraternity/Sorority Leagues must use their full name.  CoRec Leagues are teams that compete with equal numbers of males/females.

Rosters should be completely filled out online before the day of the game.  In order for rosters to be considered complete, it must contain the minimum number of participants required for that sport and the appropriate gender breakdown must be followed for Co-Rec activities.  It is the responsibility of each team captain to check the eligibility of each team member in order to avoid a protest by opponents for playing with an ineligible participant. Failure to be on an roster may result in that team forfeiting the game. All roster additions are processed online through IMLeagues.

Players may not change teams once they have signed in on the game score sheet or played any portion of a contest.  The first team that a player participates for is his/her only team.
