Welcome to the Department of Campus Recreation at Farmingdale State College!

Participating in Campus Recreation is a great way to relieve stress, stay in shape, meet other students and continue to play the sports you love. Best of all, there is little or no cost to participate in Campus Recreation activities or events.

Campus Recreation includes traditional intramural leagues and tournaments, fitness and group exercise classes, group trips to outdoor pursuits and sporting events.

Intramural Leagues include flag football, soccer, indoor soccer, sand volleyball, indoor volleyball, dodgeball, basketball, softball, badminton and ultimate frisbee. All sports offer both a men's league and co-ed league. Students have the option of creating their own team or entering into the leagues as a free agent, which will allow them to be placed onto a team and meet new students. Fitness and Group Exercise FREE classes include Yoga, Zumba, Pilates, Abs & Core workouts and upper body strength workouts and flexibility workouts taught by a wide variety of certified instructors.

Outdoor Pursuits are activities like hiking, biking, skiing/snowboarding, rock climbing and white water rafting.

Sporting Events are trips to Major League Baseball games, NFL games, NBA games, NHL games and MLS Soccer just to name a few.
