Introducing the first-ever

ORSA State Battleship Tournament!

The Ohio Recreational Sports Association has been proud to offer a number of state tournaments for the past few years, typically in the traditional sports of flag football and basketball. This year, The University of Akron is mixing things up by offering the non-traditional, yet ever-popular BATTLESHIP!

Watch our latest VIDEO to see what it's all about!

This is not your average childhood board game...this is HUMAN BATTLESHIP! Teams compete in the swimming pool, seated in a canoe, using nothing but 2-gallon buckets. The basic concept: Sink your opponents' canoes before they sink yours! Sounds simple enough - right? Well, prepare yourselves because you won't know what might happen next, with various prizes, advantages, piracy opportunities and much more being introduced throughout each battle!

This tournament is open to students from any higher education institution within the state of Ohio. Students must be currently enrolled in at least one (1) credit at their respective institution, and be at least 18 years of age in order to participate; roster checks and player eligibility will be confirmed with each school once registration has closed.

Registration cost includes a T-SHIRT and LUNCH for all 4 team members.

The tournament will take place from approximately 9:00am-6:00pm on Saturday, March 16th at The University of Akron's Ocasek Natatorium (ONAT).
