What if my team roster does not have enough players?
If a team roster has not met the minimum number of required players at the team registration deadline, games may not be scheduled for the team. Players can be added to the team roster up to the start of playoffs. If a team has a game scheduled and fails to have the minimum number of players attend the game, it will be declared a forfeit.

My intramural team cannot make it to our game tonight, what should we do?
If your team cannot attend a game or will not meet the minimum number of required players for that sport, there are two options for the team captain(s):
- Submit a reschedule request on IMLeagues.com. This can be done from the team page by selected "reschedule" next to the game you wish to move. Once submitted, the opposing team must agree, before the request is submitted to the Intramural office for approval. NOTE: Games are not considered 'rescheduled' until the game is moved on IMLeagues.
- Declare a 'default' to the Intramural office. This is done by sending an email to intramuralsports@uic.edu with the team name, sport, date & time of game. This must be done by NOON the day of the game to avoid a 'forfeit'.
Failure to submit a reschedule request or declare a default will result in the team being assessed a forfeit, which includes a $25.00 forfeit fee.

I would like to play intramurals, but I can’t find a team. What should I do?
Any individual that would like to participate but does not have a team may put their name on the Free Agent List. Free agents are also encouraged to contact captain’s on their player card page to find a team. The intramural sports program does not place individuals on a team but will assist them in finding a team. There is no charge to be placed on the free agent list. Sign up as a free agent online.

How are the leagues and tournaments divided up?
Intramural sports are first divided into three different leagues: men’s, women’s and co-rec. The co-rec league is designed for men and women who choose to play together. If there are not enough participants for a co-rec league, women will be allowed into the men’s league.
If enough teams register, an effort will be made to set up competitive & recreational divisions. If there are not enough teams, there will be an open league.
