The Intramural sports (IM) program offers opportunities for the Western Oregon University community to participate in a variety of team and individual sports leagues. The program is designed in a manner that promotes safety, fairness, and equal opportunity for all to participate. We are dedicated to participant satisfaction, while accommodating a wide range of interests and skill levels. Programs are open to all Western Oregon University students, faculty, staff and spouses.  The objectives of Intramurals are to provide opportunities for individual development through various activities, increase social contacts, growth of lasting friendships and recreation for individuals, regardless of their skill ability.

Each sport has a different cost associated with it depending on the scope of the league, tournament or event.

The Intramural program is open to current Western Oregon University's students, faculty, staff and their spouses.

Need a job? The Intramural program offers over 30 student positions each term.  Officiating is a great way to earn extra cash, have fun, and meet new people!  We offer flexible weekly scheduling, competitive pay and one of the best work atmospheres on campus. Job Requirements for IM Staff:
1. Must be available to work 10-19 hours a week
2. Must be dependable, have the maturity, integrity and a high-level of character when officiating and scorekeeping any sport and/or activity
3. Must exhibit good public relations skills at all times
4. Ability to communicate, take direction, show initiative and work well with others is a must
5. Prefer high school and/or college experience playing and/or officiating
