What Intramural Sports are offered at Pepperdine?
|
In the fall, we offer co-ed indoor volleyball, flag football, dodgeball, and tennis. In the spring we offer basketball, soccer, and tennis. There are also many Intramural Sports sponsored events throughout the year, such as 3 on 3 basketball and beach volleyball tournaments. These events will be advertised around campus, as well as on the campus recreation page and announcements will be made on the Pepperdine homepage of imleagues.com.

How do you sign up for Intramural Sports?
|
Students can sign up for intramural sports through the imleagues website. Students should create teams under the division headings for each sport and can then add then add their friends to their rosters for each team. Students must be signed up (it's free) for imleagues.com to be added to a roster.

What job opportunities are available for the Intramural Staff?
|
You can come by the Campus Recreation office and fill out an Employment Application Form for the position of IM Official and/or Event Supervisor. There are many other employment opportunities in the department of Campus Recreation such as weight center monitor and fitness monitor.

Do you train Intramural Officials?
|
Yes, before every season begins we hold training sessions to prepare them for the upcoming season. IM Officials are a very important part of our team so we feel it is necessary to provide them with the resources to succeed and officiate our sports confidently.

Is there a supervisor on duty at Intramural events?
|
Yes, there is an event supervisor scheduled for all intramural events (with the exception of tennis). These supervisors are trained in First Aid and CPR to aid students during games if necessary.

What is the role of an Event Supervisor at Intramural events?
|
This person is responsible for making sure the event runs smoothly and checks participants in. Throughout the event, they scan the facilities to ensure the safety of all the participants. Also, they are responsible for handling all injuries and incidents.
