Who Can Particapte?
Any student of Roanoke College can sign up for any Intramural sport or team. Students can even make teams of their own! Any individual presently enrolled as a full time or part time student at Roanoke College. Faculty and staff are eligible to participate. Exceptions include: Anyone who is ejected from a recreational contest is not eligible to participate in the next scheduled event. If the ejection occurs during the last scheduled event for that season the individual will have to meet with the Director of Campus Recreation to re-gain eligibility for all competitions. Any individual with more than one ejection in any recreational contest during the course of the academic year will have to meet with the Director of Recreation and Intramurals to re-gain eligibility. Anyone who tries out for a varsity sport and is retained on the roster beyond the first regularly scheduled game is ineligible to participate for the corresponding activity for one calendar year.

Intramural sports are a great way to play the sports you love, while staying in shape and building better friendships. Available sports include beach volleyball, indoor soccer, and flag football.

Games are Scheduled When You Want!!
Intramural games are scheduled based upon your team's availability. It is impossible to accomodate each individual player, but every attempt is made to accomodate the team as a whole. Talk to your team's captain about which days are best for your team before you register.
