Intramural Softball is played 10-on-10.
Games will consist of 7 innings or 50 minutes, whichever occurs first.
Teams will pitch to each other requiring the defense to field a pitcher and catcher. Officials will have full discretion to call balls and strikes. Every batter will start with a count of 1 and 1.
Due to the design of the field, there are special conditions when the ball is hit onto the track or through the cones in center field. Please read the rules to understand each scenario.
CoRec has modified rules requiring the batting order to alternate male, female, male, female, etc. Also, teams are restricted to who can pitch, catch and the positions of the infield. Those requirements can be found in the rules.
