What are intramurals?

Intramural sports are organized programs for Keyano students, staff and faculty to participate in team sport activities. They provide an opportunity for physical activity, fellowship, promotes wellness, and the use of leisure time.

Who is eligible to play intramurals?
|
|
All Keyano student, staff, and faculty members are welcome to join intramurals.

How do I get involved?
|
|
Visit our new Intramural website at www.imleagues.com/keyano. During the signup period, you can enter your team’s roster electronically. You can also stop by the Student Life Office during sign-ups if you have any questions.

What if I want to play, but don't have a team?
|
|
You can register as a "free agent" and then request to join any teams that may be looking to add players. If there are enough free agents, we may also be able to form another team. However, if you choose this option there is no guarantee that you will be on a team.

Who is the captain?
|
|
The team captain is the official team representative. He or she must maintain control of the team by assisting Keyano in such matters as team behavior, rosters, accurate eligibility, and knowledge of the rules. The captain needs to monitor the IM website for scheduling information.

What do I need to bring to games?
|
|
A positive attitude and proper athletic attire (including footwear) to participate in the sport you are playing.

Where is the intramural sports office?
|
|
Intramural sports are organized by Student Life, located in Clearwater Campus Room 210.
